Signed Basketball
Born February 7, 1974, Steve Nash currently plays guard for the Phoenix Suns. He stands 6'3 "and weighs 195 lbs. During their college Santa Clara, Steve Nash was named the West Coast Conference player of the year in two consecutive seasons. His career as college basketball wrapped with him being the Bronco all-time leader in career assists, free throws and 3-pointers made and attempted. In 1993, Steve Nash could not be found to play the Canadian National Team and winning a silver medal. In addition, he played for the BC Games Canada 1993, which won a bronze medal.
The 1996-1997 season marked the rookie year for Steve Nash. As a rookie, he started a single game, but was later found after watching his 3-point accuracy to note that the second best rookie for Phoenix Suns. The following season, from 1997 to 1998, Steve Nash has worked hard to improve his average Â'points by game 'and became one of the most improved players in the league. The following year, which marked the 1998-1999 season trying to Steve Nash, who suffered an injury in his lower back that caused him to miss the final 10 games of the year. He still managed, however, playing in 40 games and has continued to improve its Â'points by game average during those games he has participated in. Again, the problem hit Nash in the 1999-2000 season when an ankle injury took him out of 25 games during the season. It appeared in 56 games this year with 27 starts and averaged 8.6 points per game.
As things began to brighten for the young, the exercise 2001-2002 proved to be his best. During this season, Steve Nash scored an average of 17.9 points per game, which marked a career high. In addition, it was the only Maverick player to participate and start in all 82 games during the season. Fans who thought games last year were abundant met very happy to see another brilliant season Steve Nash, who finished third in the NBA aid during the 2003-2004 season.
The 2004-2005 NBA season marked great honor for Steve Nash, who joined an elite group of athletes ever to be designated as NBAA's Most Valuable Player for the guardhouse. He was named to the NBA All-Star Team for the third time in his career and has finally begun to obtain the recognition he has worked so hard to achieve. In 2005-2006, Nash won his second consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player.
Over the years progressed, Steve Nash has improved his game and proved that hard work and perseverance really pays off. After starting his NBA career with averages struggling Â'points by game 'and several wounded, Steve Nash has made a comeback that kept coming back season after season.
