No one enjoys having a ton of bricks crash down on top of their head! That's what suddenly being broken up with your partner feels like. It's almost like being blindsided by a locomotive!
Breaking up is hard enough to deal with even when you know it's coming. But when you don't see it, and have no warning signs that you knew of to look for before hand; it can be incredibly devastating!
Here's the facts! More often then not, there are plenty of road signs in the path of our relationships that we can spot before it comes to a sudden and "without warning" type of break up. If you know what to look for, you may have enough time to salvage it before your relationship ever comes to a break up scenario. While you're glancing at this list, do keep in mind that whatever is going on in your life is going to be the unique circumstances to your relationship. Even though these things can be warning signs of things that you should look for in your partner, indicating they may not be committed to your relationship, and ready to call it quits; they can ALSO be signs of other things such as health issues, work related issues, financial stress, or even something completely different.
It all comes down to stress... and the warning signs are present anytime there is stress in your life. While it's important to keep your eyes open for changes in your partners behavior, you also have to be careful that if you see some of these signs; not to jump to conclusions and start making accusations. Usually in every scenario that is going to create far greater problems for you. Sometimes it'll even cause the very thing you are worried about.
Here are your guaranteed warning signs of a breakup! In other words, the common signs of your partner about to break up with you is in the very near future if you can spot these 3 things!
- Lack of intimacy. This is a big one! This is almost always a sure sign of trouble in any relationship. It could be stress from other sources like mentioned above. But almost on every situation, you should consider seriously the possibility that there is something wrong with the relationship whenever your significant other begins losing interest in sex with you. It is bad enough that it could be stress related; but the bigger thing to worry about is that they are seeing someone else and getting their physical needs met elsewhere.

Suddenly they are to busy, or they can't make it... or just to tired... are they avoiding you? - Secrecy! Do you find that your partner is suddenly more secretive and very protective of their phone or their computer, or work schedule, or any other thing like that? Sometimes normal behaviors suddenly change, and where a boyfriend, husband, girlfriend, or wife was careless and had nothing to hide on their text messages suddenly develops a very defensive and secretive nature about it, it's possible that you have a serious issue. If they suddenly carry their cell phone with them into the bathroom or take their laptop in the next room it could be very likely that you have a clear indication that they are talking with someone else and they don't want you to know about it.
The fact of the matter is that any change in the way your partner acts towards you is a potential cause for concern. Intimacy, interest, and otherwise normal behaviors that suddenly change is clear signs there is a break up on the horizons. Keep an open mind and try to find out the explanations for all their behaviors before going in half cocked and making accusations.
Like I mentioned earlier, this could be the cause of a break up if you're not being mindful of what stress your partner is feeling. You risk the chance of appearing like some un-supporting lunatic assuming there is an affair when it could be something as trivial as problems at work or school.
In either case, if there is something going on, you will hope that they can be honest enough to let you know. I tell many couples this all the time, and it's almost always true... these are the guaranteed warning signs of a breakup.
