History
I began my Document Examiner career,
in May of 1987. After fifteen years in Industrial Engineering, I
resigned my position as Manager of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
and began assisting in the research and development of a handwriting
analysis system, utilizing new technology. The research and
development effort lead to: the building of specialized equipment;
five U. S. Patents; and the formation of a Questioned Document
Laboratory (SignaScan, Inc.), in December of 1991.

He has credits at Orange Coast College, Goldenwest College and the Brooks Institute of Photography. He has been published and is a teaching member of the Evidence Photographers International Council.
Mr Garratt is credentialed by the National Court Reporters Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Guild of Court Videographers.
